The Energy-saving-check project (Stromspar-Check Kommunal) helps low-income households to save money and reduce emissions. The idea is to help families help themselves: during in-depth consultations in the home, participating households receive useful energy-saving advice and tips, and energy and water-saving devices are installed.

Sustainable business practices and climate action activities offer industry vast energy-saving potential and the opportunity to contribute to reducing emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. To enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to benefit from available energy-saving models, the SME Climate Professional project (Klimaprofi für den Mittelstand) was launched to target specific industry sectors and segments in a specially-designed pilot scheme.
